1.
Stop Being Jealous
Some consider that the comparison of themselves with other works as an incentive of some kind. It could, if the purpose was competition, inspiration, creation objectives. It becomes harmful when the achievements of others bring enviously feelings. Just stop doing it. This way you will have more time to focus on what you can achieve, rather than what others succeed.
2.
Don't be afraid of change
Often, even if the current situation is a mess, many refuse to move. They know that they are not well where they are, but afraid of the new even more. If you eliminate this fear, most surely new worlds will come in front of you to discover. The ability to change and dealing with it head-on is one of the most exciting feelings one can experience.
3.
Give up being a control freak
Although many feel the need to fully control their lives (and most usually the lives of others), they cannot control everything. No matter how hard you try not all things come out to be as you wish - and this is undoubtedly one of the basic lessons in life. Once people realize that certain things and situations are beyond their control, they become more receptive to what life offers them. Give some space to things as they come, have a bit more trust and your daily stress will be reduced in no time.
4.
Stop Working over hours
Professional ambition combined with the instict to survice drive many to working over hours. For sure it is important to fulfill your goals and make your dreams come true but having a work-life balance is more important than you can now realise. Money making is a "wonderful" thing but in order to be trully happy in life spending time with family & friends or a hobbie will make you feel better about yourself (and less brain-dead / burnt-out).
5.
Don't blame everything on others
There is always failure in life and sometimes unfortunately things can go wrong. Either related to professional or personal matters people feel the need to put the blame on something or someone else. This is almost like a genetically coded defense mechanism as we simply don't want to feel responsible for anything bad that happens. When you overcome this initial reaction and stop this you can focus more on finding solutions and getting out of the tough situation.
6.
Why so grumpy?
People who constantly complain not only destroy their own happiness but also other peoples'. What you certainly can control are your reactions to uncomfortable situations. The best thing you can do is to stop whining and start seeing problems with a new perspective. Keeping a positive attitude can go a long way.
8.
Go over your limits
Many believe not only that they simply can not fulfill their dreams , but not even reach them. The feeling of helplessness, the belief that your abilities are limited, is one of the biggest obstacles to happiness. If you overcome this pitfall, you most surely will be "confronted" with endless opportunities.
9.
Remove bad influences
People are easily influenced by those around them. We are social beings and adopt habits and values of those who surround us. The bad friendships that make us to be " less " than what we can, prevent us from the happiness we deserve. We must be surrounded by people who inspire us and lead us to live life to the fullest.
10.
Forget the fæ¢♠i♦g past
The past is full of experiences, good and bad. These experiences define us. The past should not end up to be a recording of incidents, people regret; but a source of wisdom that makes us better in order to have the happy life we deserve.
